A Database Conversion Utility is a custom-written script that will allow you to upload your product database to the SmartCart Server for instant updates to your online store. With the Database Conversion Utility, we can display additional information that may be available in your database, if you have more fields in your data than are supported in our SmartCart Standard Data Format.
In addition to instant updates and making additional data available on your site, the Database Conversion Utility will also generate your product categories automatically. There is no need to enter the categories and subcategories into the system and generate the catalog index. This task is automated with the Database Conversion Utility, and only creates categories that are available in the inventory file, eliminating the possibility of creating empty categories in your online store.
The regular price for the custom scripting for the Database Conversion Utility is $200.00. This feature is not available with SmartCart Standard service, SmartCart Pro or Enterprise service is required.
