The shopping system will present your preferred payment selections to your customers at checkout. Once the order has been submitted, the full order details can be accessed from the Order Management Area in the admin control panel.

The best way to process payments in an online store is with an online payment processor, such as PayPal Pro, Authorizenet, Google Checkout, Verisign, LinkPoint, ECHO, Bank of America and many others. SmartCart is compatible with most online processors. An online payment processor can process the credit card payment at the time the order is placed, as well as verify the credit card holder's billing address to help protect against fraudulent transactions.

PayPal is an easy, affordable and secure way of accepting online payments. With PayPal, you can accept credit card payments, PayPal payments, e-checks, and even recurring payments. A business level PayPal account is required to accept credit card payments from your online store and can be activated in SmartCart from the payment settings in the admin control panel.
