 Wear Suhaila by VanSickleSuzanne VanSickle, designer and manufacturer of Wear Suhaila by VanSickle and House of VanSickle has been creating unique, functional women’s apparel and dancewear for over 10 years in Columbia, Missouri. Seven years of formal education in Fine Art accompanied with a passion and study of Middle Eastern Dance over the last 13 years, founded a beautiful fusion of “design in motion”. Inspired by her own journey with dance and the dancers that surround her, Suzanne’s philosophy of design is to accentuate the dancer’s natural and unique form in hopes of giving each woman a fresh perspective of her amazing body. Versatility and durability is essential in Suzanne’s work, “I want the piece to look and perform great in class, on the stage, or just paired up with a cute skirt out on the town. In this way the dancer has many uses for her investment.” “…thoughtful design, enriched with womanly juju…” is VanSickle’s tagline for her work. Every piece is designed and manufactured at the designer’s studio in (yes!) the Midwest, USA. “Love and joy needs to be infused with the creation of clothing; it’s an extremely personal object, especially when it comes to dancewear.
