Secure Order Management
SmartCart's secure order management area keeps record of all online orders and keeps all customer/order data stored securely on an encrypted server for safe-keeping. Orders can be tagged as New (default), Open, Completed or Canceled/Returned. All orders can be searched by customer name or order number. Catalog Design Tools
Theme Selector SmartCart provides a growing selection of ready to use catalog templates. Choose from a wide variety of styles and colors. Style Settings Design your store with ease with SmartCart's Style Settings. All pages within your online store can be modified in seconds. An extensive selection of design settings are available as well as a preview screen before publishing changes. Save up to 10 custom styles to use on holidays or other special events. Edit Pages The "Home Page" and "About the Company" pages that are available in your online store may be edited completely. You can change the entire look of these pages by adding your own HTML coding, or simply modify or add to the wording that is currently on the pages. Include your custom site design by editing the Site Header and Site Footer. These areas are embedded in the online catalog can help you achieve the right look for your online store. Store Logos Add your logo to the shopping system pages. The system allows you to add both a small and large image for your store logo that appears at the top of most catalog pages and store invoices. Catalog/Inventory Management Tools
Product Categorization - Catalog Index The Department (main category) and Area Controls (sub category) are used to build the catalog index for your online store. The categories provided will be referenced for each product in your catalog. Inventory Controls This area is used to add, edit and delete items from your online catalog. Each product that is added in the Inventory Controls becomes a page in the web store. These product pages are searchable by using SmartCart's search feature, and can be accessed by browsing the store from the catalog index. Inventory Control Features: Image and Thumbnail Image for each product Supports HTML for custom designed product pages Tag products as New or Sale Item Supports multiple pricing selections for ordering variations Provides the ability to reference other products. Provides the ability to include shipping cost for each item, or add additional shipping costs for items that oversized or require special handling. Shopping Cart Buttonmaker

Currency, Tax and Shipping Rates Settings
Currency Supports stores with $,�,�,� currency settings. Tax State tax rates are assigned in this area. The shopping system will automatically apply the tax for all orders originating in your taxable state. The system supports the ability to have multiple tax states and rates. Shipping SmartCart includes domestic shipping table support for FedEX, DHL, UPS and USPS. If you have provided shipping weights for your products, the shopping system will automatically calculate the shipping price for the applicable shippers used in your online store, including 2nd day and Overnight options as well. For International shipping table support, we provide FedEX International rates. A Handling Fee may be applied to support any additional shipping expenses that are not covered in the shipping tables. This fee will be added to the shipping rates that are displayed to the customer during checkout. Individual products that require additional shipping expenses can also have an additional fee applied in the Inventory Controls. Shipping charges may also be applied based on the amount of purchase or the number of products purchased. This is the alternate option for sites who do not use the shipping tables or do not provide shipping weights with the product information. Sales and Traffic Reporting
SmartCart (Standard) View summaries of Traffic Reports (Visitors, Page Views, Hits, Bytes) and Sales Reports (Total Revenue, Average per Day and per Visitor. Take a peek at what your customers are putting in their carts. We have included a new feature that previews uncompleted cart transactions. This feature is provided for informational purposes only and is not used for tracking your customers' buying habits, nor does it violate any acceptable privacy practices. Email List Manager and Mailer
SmartCart (Standard) As customers order from your online store and establish member profiles, their names and email addresses are being added to your SmartCart mailing list. The shopping system administration provides the ability to view, add and remove names from the mailing list, as well as provides the recipients of your emails the ability to remove themselves from your mailing list. The Mailer is used to create your email message and preview before you send. Both HTML and Plain Text formats are supported in the Mailer. Email messages can be personally addressed to your customers when a customer name is available. Coupon/Discount Module - SmartCart PRO
SmartCart PRO provides a module for Coupon and Discount support. You can create Coupons for your online store that can be redeemed by entering the Coupon Code at checkout. Discounts can be created as well, but these discounts are applied automatically at checkout once the customer has met the minimum ordering requirement.
