Gallery 25 will be hosting the Palette Club of Ogden for a featured show during the month of February. This will be a show of small works, painted by local artists who are members of the Palette Club. Their group is made of up artists of all mediums, who meet once a month to discuss the art news of the area, and watch a demonstration by an invited professional artist. The Palette club has several juried shows during the year, in which the members have the opportunity to win ribbons and prize money. This show at Gallery 25 will be one of their juried shows. Their group is involved in promoting the arts in the Ogden area, and takes an active part in volunteering in many art-related activities. There are several workshops during the year, and outdoor paint-outs that are sponsored by the club, in which any artist in the area is able to be included. Several in the group also gather to paint together on a regular basis. The Palette Club is a wonderful way for artists to gather to learn from each other, and also have opportunities to show their work out in the community. Please join the Palette Club of Ogden at Gallery 25 on First Friday Art Stroll, February 5th from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Continuing artwork will also be on display by gallery members: Lucile Chamberlin, Keith Dabb, Lauri Eskelson, Carol Fielding, Roberta Glidden, Jeff Hepworth, Phil Hopkins, Liz Pierce, Mac Stevenson, and Doug Wride. Gallery 25 is located at 268 Historic 25th Street in Ogden. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For more information, call 801-334-9881
