Carol Fielding will be the featured artist for the month of March at Gallery 25. She will be showing her new paintings at a reception during the First Friday Art Stroll on March 5th, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Gallery 25 is located at 268 Historic 25th Street in Ogden. Carol has loved art her entire life, and learned to appreciate the beauties of the world from an artist father. Her pathway to art began in poetry and music, then evolved to color and form, pastels and paint. She has taken classes and workshops from many outstanding artists over the years, and has continued honing her skills to be able to create paintings that speak to the heart of the viewer. She loves to paint from locations she has travelled to throughout the world, and this show will be a collection of scenes from the Middle East. Her son lives in Dubai, so the paintings from that area are especially close to her heart. Other locations that found their way to her canvas are Petra, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, and the Sea of Galilee. She is excited to be able to share the beauty from that part of the world with our local art patrons. Continuing artwork will also be on display by gallery members Lucile Chamberlin, Keith Dabb, Lauri Eskelson, Jeff Hepworth, Roberta Glidden, Phil Hopkins, Liz Pierce, Mac Stevenson, and Doug Wride. Gallery hours are 11:00 to 5:00, Tuesday through Saturday. For more information, call 801-334-9881.
