The Odyssey Atlasphere® is a world of educational fun for children and adults. Its powerful, built-in compute stores thousands of fascinating facts about 190 countries of the world, plus cities, states, regions, oceans and seas. Touch a location with the pen-wand; then press a button to get your answers. A pleasant, natural voice tells you about government and politics, population, religion, language, climate, or area time. You can also listen to local music or the national anthem. Want to know how far Delhi, India is from New York City and how long it takes to get there? Just trace the distance with the wand. Can't locate a city or country? Just enter the first few letters on the alphabet pad!
When you're playing games Odyssey gently corrects and coaches you to get the correct answer by making suggestions such as "Look in Africa" or " Its latitude and longitude are..." Atlasphere comes with two game cartridges: Metropolis (find world capitals racing the clock with up to five players) and GeoZone with three different games that test knowledge about world facts- for up to six players. The National Parenting Center which awarded the Atlasphere its Seal of Approval called it one of the finest products it had ever reviewed!
